Scooch

Scooch is an adaptation of the sport of ShuffleBoard, and is played with pushers and discs, with discs pushed to targets.

It is an inclusive activity that caters for a wide range of skill levels, fitness levels and abilities. Scooch can be played on any flat, smooth surface and can be played in singles (one player versus another) or pairs (two versus two).

Donegal Sports Partnership piloted the initiative through a number of Men’s Sheds in Donegal in 2019 and will continue to host regional social games day to encourage for men’s sheds to get involved. Games are non-competitive and always involve a friendly cup of tea afterwards!
