FUN Moves

Regular participation in sport or recreational physical activity improves concentration, self-esteem, confidence and problem solving skills. Development of physical literacy and these fundamental movement skills enables children to demonstrate a range of movements competently, confidently, creatively and strategically.

Fundamental movement skills are very important in the physical development of a child and help to develop sport-specific skills that allow them to play and enjoy sport. Acquiring fundamental movement skills allows children to participate confidently in play, dance, games, sport, outdoor education and recreational activities at home, school and in the community.

FUN Moves aims to develop and improve fundamental movement skills, whilst also providing regular sport and physical activity in a fun, safe and encouraging environment.
