Irish Heart Foundation- Heart Saver Workshop
This short workshop is aimed at those who work or train where a defibrillator present across a wide range of sectors, family homes, schools, sport settings, communities, work, etc. Or those who have or are considering setting up a community cardiac first responder programme in their area.
The 3 hour course will be delivered by Donegal Safety Training Solutions.
Topics include:
- Calling the emergency services, how and when?
- The adult chain of survival.
- Two person or team CPR.
- The safe use of a defibrillator.
- Choking and the immediate actions required for adults, children and infants.
Accredited Qualification
Participants will receive a digital certificate from the Irish Heart Foundation (Valid for 2 years)
