What We Do
Donegal Sports Partnership, with the support of our partner agencies HSE, Age Friendly Alliance & Go for Life, offers a range of community based activities specific to Adults & Older Adults, with a primary focus on increased participation, enhanced physical activity levels, social interaction and fun.
It is recommended that adults engage in 30 minutes or more of exercise, on 5 days per week. Regular exercise reduces the risk of health related illness and enhances your mental well being. We work with community groups across Donegal introducing them to Sport & Physical Activity through taster sessions, establishing programmes to support long-term participation, supporting them to purchase equipment so they can participate regularly in their own area, or organising regional events to encourage social interaction with groups of similar interests.
